This week, the campaign for Skaros III will come to an end. Who will stand victorious? Will demons overrun the world and draw it into the warp as their own, or will the actions of a few good men banish them forever from the planet? Tune in this week, as 12 players determine the fate of Skaros III...
Alright everybody, here's how this is going down. We will be playing a mega battle! But don't worry, it will be on two tables, preferably those longer ones in the Illinois room. This way it hopefully won't take forever. We will be starting (meaning everything is already set up and ready to go) by 6:30 sharp, so be there early to get a good deployment. If you will be late fear not, because you can jump right in on your side's turn. I hope everyone shows up on time anyhow...
The Story
With the success of the rituals, demons of all types are tearing their way into reality. They are threatening to consume Skaros III, drag it into the warp, and make it permanently a Demon World. The forces of good cannot allow this.
Bonus Rules
Hmm, massive demonic incursion means one thing for this battle: free demons! Every evil/neutral player (except Necrons, those poor toasters) may take up to 10 demons or 1 greater demon for free. These units are taken from Codex: Demonhunters, so I will roll for their abilities before the game. You don't have to take these demons, however.
In this game, all demons must start on the table. There is no summoning for anything; the warp is so strong they can simply be. That means all demon models being used are deployed at the beginning of the game.
As a final touch, the evil player on each table with the most points in their army will be awarded with something special to use: a massive greater demon! It will be bigger, tougher, slashier, etc than any other thing in the game, and it will be scary. I will give you the stats for it on Thursday. This player is not allowed to use the other free demons, however.
As for the point total this week all players may take everything left in their lists. There is no foc, so if you have 3 HQ's, go ahead and take them all!
The Mission
[glow=red,2,300]Evil Objectives:[/glow]
Primary: Completely destroy the single largest Good army. All models must be destroyed for this to count. How demoralizing it'd be to see the greatest armies on the planet fall to Chaos.
Secondary: Destroy over 50% of all armies on the table. This is in relation to points. A broken army can't provide resistance.
[glow=red,2,300]Good Objectives[/glow]
Primary: Completely destroy all Evil Demons on the table. Yes, this includes the C'tan, because it's close enough to one. We must repel this incursion once and for all!
Secondary: Kill all Evil HQ's, as a leaderless army won't be an effective one.
Mission Rules
Infiltrate
Concealment (only for Good players)
Game Length
6 turns or 10pm
Set-up
15" deployment zone. Good players deploy first, Evil second. Just deploy everything all at once.
Evil sides go first.
If I forgot anything, I'll add it later.
