I'll give it a better read when I'm back at school, but here's my prelim comments.
-you must take off either the standard or grenade launcher from HQ. When you take the lascannon team you only have 2 more guys that can do stuff. Since you can't use the standard with the vox, id scratch that
-your veterans would do better if they had more special weapons, like 3 melta gun or 3 plasma guns. basically 3 of a kind is good.
-try to give your sentinels a single purpose, like the veterans

I was planning to use my sentinels as basically mobile Heavy Weapons platforms - one of each kind so when they attack, they can effectively fire at any type of unit and be effective.

Same reason why I have flamers in my Lt. HQ's (cause they have the close quarter combat weapon carriers), AutoCannons / Bolters in my Infantry Squads (since they shouldn't be attacking tanks), and then Anti-Tank Support Squads (they shouldn't have to ever move).

Well, here's the thing with your hq. You've only 4 guardsmen to work with. However:
1 is being used for standard
1 is being used for grenade launcher
1 is being used for master-vox
2 are being used for lascannon team.
You must cut out something.

It's good to take advantage of the veterans ability to take 3 special weapons with bs4. I suggest doing so. Keep the heavy weapon too.

The tank's heavy flamers would be better as heavy bolters. You'll rarely use the flamers, and never get close enough for it.

Oh I see - miscounted the number of guys in the command squad. No big deal. Cut out the Grenade Launcher.

I need to find some Necromunda Eschers with Plasma guns then.

Flamers, Bolters - Don't care. I just like having a mixture of weapons.

How does everything else look?

My general plan was to use the Leman Russes / Hell Hounds / Mortar teams in the back and pound the enemy as they advance. Since I'm so awful in hand to hand combat, I just want to sit back and let them come to me. Plus - I am a big believer in ordinance.

Sentinels - What are the best weapons to have on them? Currently mine are modeled as you see on the list above, but I could replace 2 of those with flamers, or all three. Are they even worth while in close combat or what? Any suggestions?

I'd suggest autocannons or lascannons. Even multi-lasers, but unless it's a cityfight or junglefight, I'd never use heavy flamers. It's armor will never let it get close enough.

autocannons are definitely a must unless you're facing more vehicles then lascannons help too. Although, arent autocannons like str 6 ap 4, 4 shots or something? so they technically could match most vehicles' armor.

Very, very, very wrong. An autocannon is s7, ap4, heavy 2.

You're thinking of the assault cannon with those stats. Plus you missed the rending.

With the guard's bs (many puns intended) the more shots the better, so multi-lasers or autocannons are the best, since you can't give them sharpshooter. The lascannon is best if you have lots of tanks and the enemy won't shoot them. But that's about it.

i'd take the 3 lascannons, as the majority of people will be playing marines or something else with a 3+ save.
