As a lot of you already know, I am a tank enthusiast. Due to a recent lucky streak I've been able to increase my Leman Russ count to 4, Chimera to 4, along with 2 Hellhounds, a Basilisk and a Demolisher. As a result, I have enough to build my armored company. More importantly, I am planning to buy several of those Forgeworld Conversion turrets to use the Leman Russ Vanquisher / Conqueror. The armored company list is found here. I have a few questions. 1. Some of the variant cannons (such as the Conqueror) have their main gun listed as a Heavy, not Ordnance weapon. This means that you can fire the main gun in addition to all of their sponsons at a single target, correct? 2. The vanquisher cannon states you do not use the Ordnance template when firing a Vanquisher round. Instead you roll to hit with the tanks BS and get +2D6 for armor penetration. If you combine this with giving the tank Anti-Tank Rounds from the Armored Company list (another +2D6) does that mean you get +4D6 to penetration? My army list is basically going to be: HQ = Command Tank, Leman Russ Vanquisher, Heavy Bolter Sponsons + Las Cannon, 300 points. Elites = Tank Ace, Leman Russ Conqueror, Heavy Bolter Sponson and Las Cannon, 235 points. Troops = 2x Leman Russes (Las Cannons + Heavy Bolter Sponsons), 330. Total = 865. Then I'll add whatever regimental doctrines for the basic 1,000 point game and then add the rest of my crap as points go up.

Question #1: yes, it's no longer ordanance and follows the regular vehicle firing rules. So it's strength 7, so you could fire it and any heavy bolters you had, but not the cannon and a lasconnon.
Question #2: no, the anti-tank round's are only for battlecannon shots, and it's not +2d6, it's 2d6 instead of 1d6.

Q #1 addendum: It counts as a normal, non-ordnance weapon and follows all the rules that implies. Therefore, you can fire all weapons, but if you move, you can only fire one weapon over str 6. Logically, the Conqueror would be best fitted with all heavy bolters and be used purely against infantry. That's how I plan on arming it when I get one for my AC list.
Q #2: As Luong said. It only upgrades normal battlecannons, nothing else.
