With all the wacky conversion talk going on lately, I thought it would be nice to open a thread dedicated to various conversions. Everybody can post pictures of their stuff, and get it ridiculed. Did I say ridicule? I meant constructive criticism.

Who'd a thunk the Space Marines wanted an earthshaker cannon? This is really just about the fact that I hinged the side doors on my Land Raider.

Cause you're Eldar. You don't use Imperial stuff; it's dirty and crude. Imperials use Imperial stuff though.

brazilians use brazilian things too, just for your information.
that's impossible. they wouldn't even know where to begin to operate it. and it would probably be blown up anyways from the mass of starcannon fire that the [eldar] pack.

My Inquisitorial Land Raider is finally near completion... For the record- I totally ripped off Andrew's intellectual property for hinging the side hatches. The part that took the longest was the script running along the sides (in the gold fillagree) and the interior. I was originally going to have lights in it, but the wiring schematics were getting crazy and I couldn't fit enough batteries into it. (though I'm sure I will find out later how I could have done so) I used bits from just about every game system GW has- Fantasy, 40K, Mordheim, Inquisitor, Necromunda, you name it. I still have to do a little work with weathering (chipped paint, dust, mud, etc) and clear coat it, but otherwise it is done. I have been working on it on and off for about 5 months now, and I am thrilled just to have it finished. Not to mention it was an expensive bastard (forge world doors and all.)

The gunner is very cool. Where do you find the time to do all of this. You seem to be working on a million things at once.

Well, besides work, school, and marriage, I have plenty of free time (ha). Truthfully, the stuff doesn't take too long. I mean, you paint one or two parts a day and you have to let it dry, so it is gradual. I usually only sit down to paint for a half-hour or so at a time.
As for having a million projects- yes, I do. Unfortunately, very few of them ever get finished.

Very, Very nice. And the bolters in the rack idea =P. I don't even get around to my projects sometimes, although my Bretonnians are finally coming around. I always look at your stuff and cry that I suck, but then I just remember that you've got what, 4-5 more years experience than me? Ha, then I feel fine, knowing I'll be in almost the exact same position when I'm your age now.

Well my picture quality is crap and it really isnt a great conversion...but this is my pistolier marksman/Captain Bergman Rogue Captain of Irregulars. Once again I apologize for poor pic quality... He isnt completely finished yet...have to finish painting and completing base. For the base it will be flocked with a broken fence piece that the horse is jumping over or a goblin with a spear. Havent decided yet.

nice! I'm jealous you have time. Although, even if I had time, I could never do anything as good as my proxigors represent. cold booger on a paper plate to myself from myself.

Yea dude I'm likin' it! I would suggest the goblin, because if it were a fence one might think he's at a show, doing tricks, heh. You can have the horse biffing the gobbo in the face with hooves. Don't forget to finish his legs!

Im workin on my Tau Commander. I cut the arm and glued it back in a way that it looks like he has a straight arm instead of a bent one. I might slot out the shoulder so that I can point it to the side to...haven't decided it yet. My next conversion is to do a tribute to the Vietnam War Memorial with either a squad of fire warriors or go all out and use IG...who knows maybe I will try any squad...I will prolly go custom wood base and what not...definatley will need some of Adam's "wonderful" advice on this one ;-). lol

Figured I'd post this here too. That's the finished battle wagon Left Side Twin Big Shooters, they turn side to side, pivot up and down and are removeable Zap Gun, the turret turns and is removeable Engine Here it is painted (Note the speaker boxes, I made them from plasticard and some mesh to house some loud ear buds. They are hooked up to an mp3 player mounted inside. It's still not very loud, but I didn't want to mess with having to install an amplifier. You can definitely hear it though) Side/rear view with audio wires coming out the back

This weeks finished project..a Big Mek. Wrench made from plasticard and wiring, bionic arm from a terminator arm and green stuff. Kustom Forcefield generator is made from lots of plasticard, some chop sticks, teleport homer, some wiring and a few small bits. Mek's Hammer (aka a power claw) is made out of green stuff.
