So, a while ago I landed a complete set of the Imperial Guard original 'Last Chancers'. This is from back when they were each individual characters with backgrounds and special skills. I also obtained the White Dwarf that those rules were printed in.
I would like to contract out, and fully pay, a master painter or otherwise extremely talented individual to fully assemble, paint, and base these 12 models.
I'd like these miniatures to be painted in the same schemes as is featured on the front of the box (or as close as is possible).
Adam H. has repeatedly rebuffed my efforts to pay him to do this, so with the addition of dozens of new members for this school year I thought I would toss this out to the masses and see if I had anyone interested.
EDIT: I am also looking for someone interested in quickly airbrushing a Desert Yellow camo pattern over my Catachan Green Leman Russ tanks. Nothing fancy, just a quick once or twice over.

I could do this for ye. I always wanted to at some point, but never got them. No dice on the tanks though. I have no airbrush.

If you can post a reference pic for the camo pattern and describe what you really want, I might be able to do the tank for you.

If you can post a reference pic for the camo pattern and describe what you really want, I might be able to do the tank for you. Really just something as simple as this. Except it would be Desert Yellow over my basecoat of Catachan Green. The lines of course don't have to be as crisp as that, but really something as simple as this is what I want.

I explained why I didn't want to do it- It would take an undetermined amount of time, and I didn't want to make you wait forever. That is pretty much why I don't paint anything for anyone.
That being said, most 'master painters' are going to rape you on price. Just be forewarned. Your best bet is to paint them yourself. It is not hard. That I can show you in the course of a couple hours.

ya exactly, bc although it would take you a while, that's part of the hobby agreement you signed up for when going into warhammer per se. it's also fun to paint your stuff awesome and say hey i painted that while everyone stares in awe and pees their pantaloons at the majestic paint job. just hone your skillz by continuing to paint. once you've found your niche, you'll like painting more often.

Crisp lines is the easy part, actually. To airbrush a pattern like that, you use masking, so you get perfect edges. I'd be willing to take a crack at it. Also, if you want to take a crack at using an airbrush yourself, you're more than welcome to try using mine. I'm still a beginner with it myself (only had it a week!) but something like this is pretty straightforward.

As far as the tank goes, I think I'll let Adam H. try and teach me and maybe I can finish them both up in a few hours at his house. I'd really like to do them myself, but I don't have the funding to get the equipment (and until recently, was sure I didn't have the skill to do it either).
I'd still like Andrew to take a crack at the Last Chancers and see what he can do with them. I'm terrible at painting faces and I want those to stand out.
Thanks for everyone's offers and ideas though!
