Alright, so after a fair amount of bitching and moaning (lol) and eventually going to a higher priced establishment anyway, we finally got things worked out. Here's what's in store for the rest of the semester, and going into the next year:
Rest of Semester:
-The Warhammer Fantasy Campaign will continue till the end of the month. Then points will be tallied and a winner decided.
-A date will be set where all those involved with Games Day will get together at someone's house, and we'll decide on what to build the board out of. This will negate confusion about what materials to use so that we don't have a disjointed board (one have dark green flock, the other burnt sienna. wtf)
-A date or dates will be set for anyone who wants to do a mega-battle of any system. There will be a story behind each which I will write, along with little objectives and lots of death.
This summer:
-The northerners (Andrew and Caleb) will work on one half of the GD table. The southerners (confederate batardes!) will work on the other, hopefully coming together at least once to compare before the day. As for the table itself...
-I have volunteered my Eldar and Blood Angels for the day. They are of significance, as my friend who gave me the Eldar was the one that I attended a funeral for, while the BA are my brother's. He would enjoy seeing that indeed. Thus the mission will essentially be a destroy/capture the wraithgate. It will be cool to make and do. 1250pts
Fall Semester:
-Warhammer 40k campaign. Justin volunteered to create, head, and do most everything for it, although some help with the numbers I'm sure would be appreciated. Any questions about it should be directed to him, as he has some sort of master plan, that sneaky tzeentchian git.
-Games will be either introduced or played among members, as I would like to do so. Specifically, these will be Lord of the Rings Warbands, Warhammer Skirmish, and Battlefleet Gothic for anyone who wants to check it out.
Spring Semester:
-Warhammer Fantasy campaign. I will run this one, and it will be smaller than this years. It will be the Bretonnian themed one from a White Dwarf that's really cool.
-Possible work on the next year GD table if the current one goes well.
As a fundraiser (fundraider? heh, I want it with lascannons), tournaments might be held. One per semester will be about it for now, but it will be good. Gift card prizes, etc, created from the entry fee.
