As most of you know our current VP, Matt, is going to be graduating in December. Therefore will have to hold elections for a new Vice President.
Role of the Vice President: 1) Should be present at almost every meeting. 2) Assist President with planning for club events.
If you can not accomplish these tasks do not run for VP. I understand people have things to do and cant always make meetings but exec board members, especially president and VP need to present at every meeting.
If you would like to run for VP private message me and I will put you in the running. We will vote next week at our meeting.

Well caleb is running for VP and if he wins the position of secretary would be open so we will also hold elections for that if it happens.

In my other dealings with the SA - I've found that they force you to have certain positions filled. If, for whatever reason, a member of the executive board goes *unfilled* I will make myself available as a 'filler candidate'.
I apologize for my relative non-attendance of meetings. I've been simply swamped with academic bullshit, but I'd do the best I can.

Well I know I haven't been the most productive when it comes to attending the meetings but hey I think I will throw my hat in the ring. I have been the other for a year and treasure for another year for the chess club so I have experience when it comes to club positions.
