I know yall are big 40K'ers. Does anyone play Epic? I was thinking of putting together an army but really don't need the additional expense unless I'm actually going to use it. For those of you who don't know, Epic is 40K on the scale of entire battlefields, not just battalion level engagements (i.e., you field companies of land raiders, not just _a_ land raider.) The miniatures are 4MM and you keep your 4x6 table to give you some indication of the scale. Read about it here: www.specialist-games.com/epic/default.aspI've always stayed away from 40K because everyone I've talked to about it says Fantasy is the more strategic game, but the Epic rules are great, very simple, and both strategic and tactical. Plus it's cool fielding the giant battle machines that you can't fit on the table for 40K. James.
