The only one I remotely like is the first, "Recruiting since 2005". Everything else sounds far too elitist, from Latin phrases to discussion of our own sexual promiscuity. I'd like to see our t-shirt be a little more inviting and all encompassing.

Well there is nothing wrong with being a little elitist ( we are better than 95% [+5% margin of error] of the people on this campus) and also there are four other shirts to choose from that have general sayings on them from earlier poll decisions. Yeah, I'd prefer something like. The front having the name of the club and the back being our forum address and a list of games we play. Something maybe like "Ask me what we're all about!"

In my own experience, if I wasn't friends with Caleb I would have never found out about you guys.

I know you guys want something that advertises, but a shirt that says "ask me about membership" is lame.

The thing you should think about is who will buy a shirt that says that and if alot of people will and it would make the club money then use that saying, but if you choice a saying that may attract people to ask about the club but no one from the club buys it then......

Im not saying my phrase is the best, and some of you may wear that shirt with "ask me about membership, but in my opinion its a stretch

I still think that the shirt should be more all inclusive rather than isolating. Some phrase that we may find interesting / funny in a self-depreciating sort of way may really turn some people off. So far, 'recruiting since 2005' has got my support.

Or, if you guys just want something really funny, regardless of the message, I say we go with this:

"Northern Illinois Miniature Gaming Club: More Disposable Income Than You Since 2005". Which is blatantly ripped off of a fake motivational poster I saw online a while ago.

Well, when I wear my shirt around tournaments, people ask about it no matter what's on the shirt. What's on the back has no bearing. They see our name on the front, and they'll ask.

And yes, that last one was pretty lame of me =/.

Seriously though, I think a funny saying is going to go alot further than something gay about membership or something. Though all of these are obviously out of the question, people should post random funny shit. See what we come up with.
