I will be facing off against one of our new members in an 1850 battle of epic proportions come next meeting..will be my first time playing nids so whould be interesting...hope i dont get my ass kicked too bad

yes a good battle indeed. ya like caleb said, try to focus on the groups of guys bc they can do lots of damage. ya the carnifexes can too but they dont have 10s of attacks like groups of genestealers. carnifexes are purposely used to suck up a lot of firing power and at toughness 7 it is completely conceivable. tyranids are really hard bc it's either you really f them up from shooting or they get in cc and whoop your ass. either can be accomplished with a good set up though.

yee haw we have some nice battles going on this week. tau vs nids, sisters vs. necrons, some cool fantasy battles and i think andrew said some bfg may be going on as well. good god!!

well first off we make the three groups of 3 tables. whomever scheduled their games first will play first. Seeing how 40k is a lot faster than fantasy, I think those two battles (mike vs. ryan; me vs adam T) should occupy two table groups, and the games were scheduled basically last week anyways. Then josh and andrew's fantasy game will be on the remaining one. I know that none of those battles will take the entire time, so there will be a free table to do whatever prob in a max of 2 hrs.

The room situation will be different next semester I went and talked to the people at the HSC and after thanksgiving I will be putting in for either a bigger room or two rooms like ours right next to each other. As the club gets bigger we are going to need more assistance from people with such things as terrain. Right now we have 3 or 4 people supplying terrain for roughly 10-12 people. If regulars continue to increase we will need at least one or two more people to supply terrain...unless people want to play on boards with no terrain.
