Face of Battle

As mentioned in another post, I am currently trying out the rules for the Face of Battle game system. Face of Battle is a WWII skirmish system designed for small unit actions. That means maybe two or three squads and a vehicle, not huge 40K style battles. Face of Battle offers alot more control and action with the individual soldier, as opposed to entire units.
The system is somewhat complex, but is one of the most realistically representative wargaming systems I have ever seen. The shooting and morale systems are particularly good. The details are such that one can actually imagine what is going on in the game, as opposed to mass dice rolling.
If anyone would be interested in learning how to play Face of Battle, let me know. I am excited to get some more games under my belt, and do sow away from Games Workshop. If there is enough interest, maybe I can work out some battles during the semester meetings.

sounds good. the more games the better. a pool of games is like hot ladies to nerds, without the whining. although, i'd rather be getting laid by a hot lady then playing the games, but i guess they should hold me off until then haha. but 1. how much does it cost? and 2. where can you find the minis?

when i was at the dungeon on tuesday with mike and frizzelle, after mike kicked my ass in 40k bc i was being dumb and me then kicking the crap out of frizzelle's eldar, me and mike discussed this warmachine game. it's only like 40-50 bucks an ARMY. bam 40-50 bucks and you're set unless u want to play bigger games, but i guess for the sake of the game it isnt necessary. the minis look amazing though. insanely detailed. and the armies look pretty cool. should definitely check the game out. then mike got killed by some nid player. that sucked. i also saw a DOOM board game haha. also, the warhammer historical game looks awesome too. you can play a wild west army yee haw.
