I could dm. But I'm not really good at it. At least I've played often enough to know the majority of things. Although...I could dm. I have all the core books, and I have a campaign book somewhere at home. Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil. A good campaign, obviously.

I think it would be cool to have themed characters. Like I would like mine to resemble a Questing Knight of the Bretonnians. Obviously would mean a greatsword and no bow or any ranged things (I probably won't even throw rocks haha). The only thing is that I would want it to come with a warhorse as well, and other things that, while fitting to the character, would make him a little more powerful than a normal 1st level dude. A solution to this is to simply gear the campaign (Justin, sp., heh) a little harder. That's just my starting idea. Sound any good?

I'm actually writting a d20 Star Wars and possibly a D20 Modern campaigns for Fall 06. I will have an appartment in Old Orchard...which is central campus next to all the good food places. So I will be willing to run a campaign or at least host a place to play one at my place. I know two of my roommates...one of which a few of you know (Ryan) play the games and enjoy it. The other two are in the basement lol so they prolly don't care.
I prefer to write campaigns around the characters. I have the beginning of one we almost started this year...I can keep goin with that one or start a new one. Your guys choice. As for Modern, I'm not sure where I'm goin with that.

We could play a few pre made adventures to get into the game and learn the specific rules...thats the best option next to goin head on into writting one and having it flop.

I've been a long time roleplayer and I usually emphasize story, plot, and development of a character over mechanics. As in, I usually have a next to shitty character as far as mechanics are concerned, but a really interesting background and a goal for development.
I love playing in any setting, though I prefer Star Wars or a Modern / White Wolf setting over DnD, but I'd love to be involved if anything gets going.
When you guys start up your campaign why not put up a Sign Up Sheet on the forums with the hours you'll be playing and we can see who can make what campaigns.

Not a bad idea. I would hope most of you know what times you have class next semester already. I will post a signup sheet.

I noticed a few of you put DnD for your preferred system...not to ruin the party but Im not one to run those. Im better with star wars stories truthfully and I just like Modern.
Maybe Rios or Vic or someone else can run a DnD one.
