Well in light of some recent events we need to make some amendments to our constitution.
If you are not at the club meeting you basically lose your vote and no we arent accepting online votes. So if you care about these decisions show up briefly for the meeting and cast your ballot.
- Alumni membership-basically this is an amendment that says that all past members of the NIMGC stay members of the club even if they no longer attend NIU.
- Adding treasurer to list of officers in constitution-pretty straightforward-we will vote but we have to add this so...
- Vote for a 5$ lifetime NIMGC membership fund-basically the SA screws us over so in order to get funding for tournaments and such we are toying with the idea of a 5$ once in a lifetime donation to the NIMGC...you pay once that is it...your done till you die. We will vote on this because when i started the club i did not want to charge but as we have gotten larger and do more things it gets harder and harder for the exec members to fund everything from their own pockets...while it may not be a lot that they spend they still do it.
- Yearly Elections: Every year elections will be held for all five executive board positions. Added on 3-29-2007
- Sergeant-At-Arms added to NIMGC executive positions. Added Fall 2007
