I think Josh should get the Good Sportsmanship Lifetime Achievement Award. He takes his losses so well.

Well, since I'm the president next year, I can try to keep track of all games everyone plays, and at the end of the year I can hand out awards, be they for power or patheticness, lol.

hahaha an oscars night for the NIMGC funded by the SA. i say let's do it so we can piss them off. i mean if we have an award ceremony they wont be like no way, theyll be mad and give us funding in my opinion. should work. those pesky tau and space marines at it again, inspiring everyone with new ideas and such grrrrr.

Oh man, that was a good battle. At the end it was practically dead even in points. Truely enjoyable. I tend to have more wins against Josh than most of my other battles, but he takes it really well, which I appriciate.
The battle I had right after that (verses IG), I got totally pasted by his artillary.

the way i figure it is, winning makes no difference in the amount of fun I have playing the game, I have fun whether i win or lose. People who obsess over winning and let it affect their mood shouldnt be playing as their energies would be better used in competative sports or masturbation.
Think about it people we are grown men playing with toys...if we take it to seriously we become wankers...no one likes a wanker.
Caleb you only win because you use fear of darkness...thats a vagina move and you know it. Otherwise I would have won...and that is sad because you were playing space marines...all you had to do was roll 3+...sad...just kidding man all in jest of course.

well sometimes we are allowed to get a little frustrated especially when we dont know what the f we are doing (i.e. me in fantasy when adam brings the cheesetasticness and whomps on my lizzies). although, i do have to say im getting better at losing to adam bc it's become more and more close every battle besides all the f'd up shit that happens. but like any other game there is competitiveness in all of us. I mean seriously, we're having a campaign. people dont want to lose, they want to do their best, so cheese and competitiveness is expected. i still get the award for most times lost to adam consecutively among the others i mentioned. so bleh ! ya I would have to say that adam t, josh or andrew is best sportsman. i never see them complain (wish i could take their advice haha).

It's all about the stories that come from the games. Yes, I like having the good guys win, but it doesn't always happen. However, when that one little guy somehow, somehow got that last wound off a raging greater daemon, if I lose the game it's justified and doesn't "feel" like a loss. Just shenanigans.

As a related aside, I defeated new Adam's Tau tonight at OBG. I'll admit it was harder than expected, but allowing him through his mistaken assault 3 pulse carbines was my mistake as well. Very rewarding for him!
