Tau vs. Imperial Guard

Adam H. and I played a 800pt city fight today. Adam provided some great scenery(check out the pics on our website)

The Tau set up a firing line and waited for the IG to come to them. The first few rounds were relatively uneventful minus a few casualties on each side. When the firewrriors finally opened fire they tore into the stormtroopers and Hardened veterans. Eventually the stormtroopers got revenge by taking out a unit of firewarriors and stealthsuits. Alas the tau retaliated with long distance railgun shots causing horrendous casualties.

this game was another great game, against a great opponent, I highly suggest all of you set up a game with Adam H., if nothing else do it to see his awesome scenery. The Tau came out victorious with a solid victory.

The Emperor will show no mercy the next time he faces the heathen Tau. Burn the mutant! Kill the heretic! Death to the alien invaders!

The souls of the Imperial Guard have been redeemed, as today, on the field of battle, another city block was secured.
The armored fist of the Emperor was met with swift retribution from heathen Tau weaponry, and many cherished vehicles were lost. Upon entering the field of battle, the sole Leman Russ was decimated by a well placed rail gun shot.
Showing uncommon resolve, the Imperial infantrymen pushed foreward. A single squad of light infantry clashed with a squad of Stealth Suits and two Crisis Suits (including the heretical Tau commander) and emerged victorious.
Allthough all of the Emperor's vehicles found death waiting in the rubble, the stalwart Imperial Guardsmen managed to take the field. Though many brave souls were lost, the galaxy has been made just a bit safer for mankind.

Twas a great game...it was a severe ass whooping but at least I killed all your lumbering machines with some awesome Tau technology. We will have our revenge. For the Greater Good!!!
