Mike and I played a few games around 1500 points each. The first game was tau vs. dark eldar. Needless to say I got owned. The terrain placement sucked ass and I was just getting st 5 shooting from all directions. Ten wyches did kill almost 3 entire squads alone. Got to remember to protect them at all costs. Scourges still suck ass in my book. The second game I busted out my sisters. At first they were getting shot up pretty damn bad, but then I got some good positioning and returned fire. Penitent engine is funny as he attacked a whole squad of firewarriors and killed his hq with st 10 madness only to get basted by a rail rifle . Penitent engine like combat but hate New York Giants!! He was mad when he died. Seraphim kick major ass. Nothing beats a 3+ save with a 12" move ignoring terrain! Need more of those!! If my arco flags got in combat it would have been curtains for tau! That damn stats teacher aunschwi!! Make firewarriors have 3 attacks each and overwhelm with pure statistics!! I will have my day!!! Defeat is only a learning experience in 40k muhahahaha!!!

man now im p'd. i was looking at the sisters' rules and I was doing practically everything wrong grrr. we will have to have a rematch so I can actually get these rules down. a new army is kind of hard to adjust to the rules, especially when I was just getting all the DE rules down!!

i guess a lot of the equipment i gave the sisters i wasnt using. for instance i gave my sisters purity seals so that gives them an extra d6 when falling back. I didn't use it and they ended up getting basted. My squads themselves were wrong too as I was reading up on it I could designate what weapons they had, but the two squads ended up having multimeltas which make them heavy support, but I could take up to four of them instead of the two I took, so basically I didn't have any troop choices. It's confusing because if you don't have the models to represent what weapons you have and then finding out that you can have four of any type of weapon but that that squad is designated under a different category and then thinking who would consciously take 4 heavy bolters!?!? Kind of confusing.... oh ya and it was 230 in the morning.

tau are actually fun to fight bc they have both firepower and pretty crazy cc with aunshi, which the sisters also have, making it a very close game at all times.
