Well crap on a stick. I wrote this post already but I guess when I hit the "post" button, my internet connection was dead. Jeeze! Well I'm not going to write it again!
Maybe a summary...
Cityfight Rescue mission. The uber-psycic Uthwe eldar vs Vanilla marines (a friend supplimented my list) for 2000pts. Marine side was: 2 tacticals with flamer, devistators with missiles, a command squad with a master-commander pimped out for close combat command squad (47 attacks on the charge!) assault squad, full terminator squad, and a grey knight squad.
The eldar really had things pretty well early on. We had SOOOOO much terrain that line of sight was almost at point blank range, but it was very dramatic to search such a croweded city block for the objective (a stranded eldar spy [model represented by a retired eldar "jester"] ) to which the eldar found first with their superior footspeed. Eldar really had things pretty well on turn two, but turn three showed a MASSIVE counterattack by the space marines, we stole the objective by butchering the squad that had it. Then were promptly shot to death by the entire eldar army during their part of the turn. Due to time constraints, the battle ended in turn three with neither side in possession of the objective.
