Over break I only got one game of Warhammer in...it was an 8000 point game that we played to the death...therefore it took 12 hours. It was a long ass game full of fun and hilarity.
4000pts of Dwarfs vs. 2000pts of Empire + 2000pts of Lizzies
The dwarf line set up with an anchor of artillery on the right flank consisting of 4 bolt throwers, 1 stone thrower, and the anvil of doom. the rest of the dwarf line consisted of infantry and heroes stretched all the way across the 8 foot board.
The empire and Lizard line was set up with mostly empire on the right flank and mostly lizards on the left. Two stegadons provided some heavy hitting abilities on the left while on the right empire artillery provided the power.
The dwarf line was forced to charge across the field as the Empire and lizard shot at them, a large portion of the dwarfs were killed but they are tough so when the got across they did a lot of damage to the line of troops waiting for them.
At the end of the battle all of the dwarfs were dead minus the lord who would not die thanks to an awesome combo. The empire had the cannon and the mortar left, a full unit of swordsman, one priest, and 8 halbediers. The lizzies and two huge units of skinks and two saurus heroes and one stegadon.
