Yes it was pretty bad ass. It was Dwarf and Wood elves 10,000 against 9,098 of Empire and dogs of war (6,098 empire 3,000 dogs of war). None of us took really good notes but here is my best attempt at a battle report. We arrived at 12:30 to play in the warbands tournament but that really just turned out to be one vampire count army against a bunch of little warbands which was really lame. And the 1,000 pt competition later on never happened. So we played a 2 on 2 4,000 pt game (1k per player) to warm up then went to good old Cici's. Came back on started a legendary battle. I didnt bring all of my mini's so we were down buy 900 but we were not hampered by this we actually got 9 desperation tokens during the game which really helped, and the fact Rios does not know how to use his dwarfs . Turn 1 The army of the empire along with a contigent of Dogs of war set upon the dwarfs to capture the wonderous meteorites that had fallen the previous night. But to the dismay of the Empire the wood elves were ready to take their share of the moon rocks and surprisingly were willing to help the dwarves. The mighty empire were lead of the Emperor Karl Franz on his trusy dragon. Kurt Helburg brought a sizeable Reiksguard force. The paymaster of the Dogs of war brought Golfags orges and 3 mighty wizards. Karl franz had the forsight to bring 7 cannons 3 hell blasters and 9 wizards to combat the might dwarf King and his 2 cannons, 2 rock lobbers, one flame cannon, 2 oregan guns, the goblin hewer and the might anvil of Doom. But most fearsome of all was the Wood elf hord. Randy the wise brought 2 treeman and a mighty great treeman. The battle began with the empire knights led by Kurt Hellburg moving into the center capturing 2 of the moon stones but to do so was to put them before the hill containing a cannon a grudge thrower and within range of two oregan guns but skillyfully out of the charge range of the massive treeman. Karl Franz took the left to provoke the lesser treeman. The dogs of war carefully moved to the right and the center hiding its powerful units behind the well armed knights. The magic phase begin with the dark emmisary miscasting and ending the phase before the 26 power dice of the empire could be released. The empire shooting phase failed to wound a single treeman and left the Giant treeman unhurt but a organ gun was left in ruin. The wood elves began by moving the giant treeman up preparing to charge the foolish empire knights in the middle. The elves moved all of its units on the left in threat range of karl franz and a small unit of knights. The elves valiantly moved a unit of glade guard and some light cav to protect the dwarf artilary hill from the on coming knights. The Wood elf shooting and magic was ineffective. The empire brought 16 dispel scrolls along with the 4 Dogs of war left little room for magic. The wood elves aimed everything at Karl Franz but wounding him only once. The dwarfs were unable to draw line of sight to Franz and instead aimed its organ guns and the knights only killing 3 from all of the units. A Dwarf flame cannon mis fired and failed to kill the Captain in position to charge it. Round score Empire 4 Dwarf & elves 1 Turn 2 The Empire charged past the Giant Treeman and confronted the Wood elves protecting the hill. Karl Franz charged a unit of bowman and the fun knights next to him went for the light cav next to him. On the dwarf side the Dogs of war moved slowly up. This round all shooting was aimed at the giant treeman. All the cannons hit with no miss fires but the ones that managed to get through his ward save only did one or two wounds leaving him at 4 wounds left. The two hellblasters shot at him leaving him at 2 wounds. The good old ben miscast again ending our magic phase but this time we remembered that desperation tokens can be used to reroll and dice. So he rerolled one of the ones and it turned up as a one, then we rerolled the untouched one and low and behold it was another one ending our phase leaving the treeman with 2 wounds oh no. The elves started by charging the treeman into a unit of undead(dogs of war special unit or somthing). Karl Franz killing the unit of bowman with a wizard and the falconier in it and pursued into one of randy's lords. The dwarf cannons were right on the money this turn making the large unit of knights on his left side almost dissapear except for the Grandmaster(lord) and two other guys. In combat the Giant treeman only kill 3 undead leaving that combat at a draw. Karl franz to be continued

Well if you read my battle report I didn't take any notes so it will be a little until it is all done and I do not want to ruin it by telling everyone who won or lost before it is all written.....
