Missions
All missions count as "standard" when referenced to in certain codecies.
Game 1: Arch Rivals
Description: You and your greatest opponent have been beating at each other for months on this dreary planet. Now things have finally come to a climax, and you have a chance to kill him, severing the head from the body as it were. However, he may very well do the same to you...
Game 2: Twilight
Description: As your troops tuck in for the evening meal, the alarms sound. An enemy army has been spotted nearby! As your troops rush to position, you notice the sky getting darker. Twilight is upon you!
Game 3: Battle in the Eye of Terror!
Description: Oh how the f@#$ did you get your army into this one? You managed to land on a planet within the Eye of Terror, only to find it occupied by yet another enemy! Your troops disappear and reappear, making it somewhat difficult to plan strategies, but also producing opportunities unlike anything else...
Each mission also has it's own set of special rules, to be detailed in your tournament packets.

Army Rules
- Must be no more than 1850 points, but can be less.
- Must bring 2 (preferably) printed army lists for the judges and for yourself.
- Forgeworld units are allowed; however you must bring all rules about any units you use.
- Old One Eye, Red Terror, and Death Leaper are allowed for Tyranids. Again, all rules must be provided.
- If you are lucky enough to own the previous edition of the Chaos Codex, then you may use Daemon units as printed there in place of those given in the current edition. However, as they will count as "allies," you can only take the following:
[glow=green,2,300]
0-1 Greater Daemon
0-2 Daemon Packs
0-1 Daemonic Beasts units
NOTE: None of these units count for the Compulsory choices in your army. Hence you need 1 HQ and 2 Troops from the regular Chaos Codex. However, they do count as scoring units as per the 40k rulebook...[/glow] - The following are not allowed:
- [glow=red,2,300]Rules and Army Lists marked as "Trial" or "Optional"
Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse rules
Lost and the Damned Armies
Feral Orks
Armored Companies
Relictors
Apocalypse Formations
Apocalypse Strategic Assets[/glow]
Rules Clarifications
- All Chaos Daemons, in the newest and previous editions, count as Daemons for Daemonhunter wargear purposes
- If using older daemons, they are subject to instability as per that codex, but they do use the most current summoning rules.
- All Grey Knights in power armor and terminator armor use the "True Grit" USR, clarified by the 40k rulebook
- All FAQ's will be on hand, and Judges will help to the best of their abilities, but if something can't be decided, go ahead and roll a 50/50 for it and play on.
