This will be a general post about 2009!
Dekalb Chapter Table ONE -Fantasy Table Rios Ian? Adam
Dekalb Chapter Table TWO -5th ed. 40k Table - Kill Teams? ...Bill? Delso Friz
Gurnee Chapter -5th ed. 40k - ZOMBIES!!! Andrew Caleb
Frankfort Chapter: Josh Randy Adam M.?
On a side note, all discussion of tables should be put in this GamesDay discussion forums...that's what I think at least. They will be easier to reference in once place and its nice to see people from other tables commenting on each others tables.

Northern is doing 40K. We're thinking something zombified, and it will be new terrain on the old (1st baby!) Games Day table.

Um i dont think you can have like 6 people with two boards i think you can only have 4 per club with two boards

Never said you could lol. Thats why there are 4 boards with 3 people each.
Thats why I had two different club names for the first two boards. I think we will have to register with different names to get in properly.
I was thinking of doing kill squads for the Dekalb board.

You dont need multiple clubs. 3 people per table and each chapter can have multiple tables.

More accurately, a squad of storm troopers trying to escape the rotten clutches of a zombified population.

Yea our idea differs from that alot. We are deciding between two ideas. One being kill teams. Like 4 armies on a smaller table fighting for objectives. We would bring up to 8 different race/kill teams to give a choice. I have eldar and soon to have grey knights which I can finish by summer. Friz will have orks and marines, and Bill has Nids and Tau. We can come up with enough to get 2 more small kill teams.
I just really liked that Nid themed table that had like 8 different marine squads fighting.
The other idea is a big apocalypse battle...which we haven't totally worked out yet. Friz and Bill have more on that.

copied from my e-mail
what i sent:
First I would like to thank you on behalf of our club for a wonderful time and the very generous table gift we received this year, we had a blast. We're already planning on next year's tables, I just had some questions regarding them, though. If you have the time I was wondering if you could answer these questions:
1) We are intending to bring two tables next year for the DeKalb chapter, a 40K and a Fantasy Table, both 4x6, both with 3 people working on them each. I know we were allowed 3 people for the one table we brought this year, but I was wondering with two tables how many people we're allowed to bring in?
2) If we're still allowed to only bring 3 people in, if the rest buy tickets can they be let in early to help with the set-up of the tables.
Thank you again for your time, looking forward to your replies and next year's Games Day.
-Mike Rios, President of N.I.M.G.C. DeKalb Chapter
His reply:
Hi Mike,
We recommend 3 people per table, so if you are bringing two tables, six people is a nice number. Depending on the complexity of your event, you can elect to bring more to help out as we do want clubs to have a fun and relaxed time. We just set the baseline at 3 so that there is an expectation to work with (and so that we don't end up running into a club that tries to bring in the 10 people to run one table).
We definitely don't mind more club members coming in to help with set-up with paid tickets, we just need to make sure they stay in their designated area as we're usually still setting up other areas up to the doors opening (the big one usually being the store).
Any other questions, please let me know!
Chris

Makes sense, so we have no problem bringing 6 to work on 2 tables. Answers the main question we were all arguing over lol.
Aaaaany ways...Rios got me some grey knights and I will be working on those the next few weeks to finish painting them so I can buy something else lol.

I know Ian wants to get together to discuss things anyways, but my weekends are kinda valuable time since I work 9 hours a day during the week and Thursday is my time allotted for the club.
What I mean to say is I don't plan on spending time at the shop on the weekends too often with the holidays coming up. That and I have to work so I can buy a new car. So yea, life sucks.
I will be painting things when I have time at home. Hopefully once the car is purchased I can cut some hours off my week and have more time for ME.
I am ready to start working on anything though. Just lemme know when we get together to talk.

See the glowy part for important info.
Games Workshop would be nothing without its loyal fans and the Games Day Gaming Club tables prove it! Last year, we had scores of local gaming clubs running fantastic games on all sorts of amazing scenery. In addition to all manner of Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, and The Lord of The Rings gaming, expect to see Blood Bowl, Battlefleet Gothic, and other Specialist Games being played. Also keep an eye out for conversion clinics and even remote control 40K tank battles! As we get this year's Games Day club participants lined up, we plan to list them here. Check back soon for more information.
Attention Clubs Games Days are the premier gaming events in the United States, and we want you to be a part of the fun! We are looking for enthusiastic groups of gamers to run themed gaming tables and similar events at this year's Games Day! The clubs who sign up to bring one or more tables to Games Day would get the following from Games Workshop.
Free advertising on the Games Day web site for your club. Free advertising in the Games Day program handout going to all participants at the show (must register by the deadline). Free entry into Games Day for the club volunteers running the event. A complimentary Games Day miniature for each club volunteer running the event. We'll be giving out lots of Club Awards this year including Best Table and Best event for each game system (Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, and The Lord of the Rings). A huge club goodie bag full of items for each gaming system (Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, and The Lord of the Rings) they’ve built and brought a table for ([glow=red,2,300]up to a maximum of three goodie bags per club[/glow]). Bags will include things like scenery and other items usable by the whole club on a regular club gaming night. Registration Registration going live soon. Please check back here.
What to Bring Participating clubs will provide their own tables, miniatures, and volunteers. Any displays (not part of the table), banners, or other services needed (i.e. electric) must be approved prior to arrival. We are also encouraging clubs to bring the following in addition to their fantastic table and event:
We want you to be able to promote your club and make sure every person attending Games Day 2009 knows about you!
A club banner and your own system to display it. You can also enter your banner in he Games Day banner contest! Club T-shirts for all club members. Club literature to hand out including flyers, event calendars and sign-up sheets. Official Disclaimer and Rules
Clubs must register their tables at least 6 weeks prior to the event. We will need a finalized staffing list 2 weeks prior to the event. Clubs will be responsible for their own set up and breakdown. The events team will contact each club and inform members of when they can arrive to set up and where they need to go. There will be no reimbursement for parking, meals, hotel costs, and the like incurred by the clubs or their volunteers. Registration is first come, first serve. We have a limited amount of room but it’s still enough room to handle dozens of tables! We recommend 3 club members per 4’x6’ table section for staffing purposes. Please plan accordingly. Games Workshop reserves the right to amend any club staffing list if it appears too large for the proposed event. If you have staffing concerns please don’t hesitate to talk to us. Club Events are intended to provide fun events for Games Day participants and to give Clubs a way to promote themselves to the gaming public. As such you may not charge anyone to participate in your event or otherwise sell anything. Note that this hasn’t ever actually happened before, but we’d rather be safe than sorry. If your table or event won an award at a previous Games Day it will not be eligible to win again -- but you are still welcome to bring the table and run the event. Please note that this applies only to the table and not the club! A brand new table or event is eligible for an award.
