Ted wants to run a winter campaign (NOT league) and he's writing it up as we speak. He wants to know how many people are interested and with what WM army (no Hordes that I know of). Either sign up here or on the whiteboard at the store.

I would be interested. I could play my cryx but would prefer to use my trollbloods, as the FT rules are usable for tournaments and I prefer the Hordes system.

Here I am! On the forums at last!
Anyways, yes, Hordes armies can play in this. I will be writing up the official storyline/objectives shortly. So far we have:
3 Cygnar
2 Khador
1 Cryx (maybe 2)
1 Trollbloods

Ok. Please, everyone post your name and what army you want to play. We've decided we need 2 of every faction. So, those of you who have more than 1 army...
...if it comes down to you playing the one you want and someone not getting to play because it's the only army they have...you'll probably HAVE to play your other army (I say this because there are many, many Cygnar players). Mercs, for this campaign, can join whoever they want. Everblight, Skorne and Cryx can ally. Trollbloods can ally with anyone. Otherwise we can roll with the punches, depending on who we have.
LEAVE YOUR NAME AND ARMIES YOU HAVE AND WHICH ONE YOU WANT TO PLAY!!!!!!

Khador: Ted, Greg.
Cygnar: Andrew, Steve.
Legion of Everblight: Rios.
Trollbloods: tweak(I don't know his real name).
Rios, Andrew, please keep me informed of people who FOR SURE will play. I need to know this so I can draft the map (I need to know players so I know how big to make the map).

Hey quick question, how is this gonna run? I have a weird schedule sometimes but am definitely interested as I previously stated. Mainly I do not think I could make it every thursday for this so I'm just wondering how its gonna work.

You know what i have. Mercs and Orboros. But I have the Retribution book now...so I might be able to have a 35pt list soon if I can get rid of the pirates I have. Think I will toss em on ebay today.

The day will most likely be on a weekend, where people have some free time.
Andy: I think Orboros would be cool. They certainly got a nice boost in the mkii rules. If you wanted to play retribution, however, that'd be cool too.

If it is on weekends, I could play my Cryx at just about any point value. Or my Menoth, whatever is needed.

Adam, at this point, you'd be welcome to play either Menoth or Cryx. We haven't gotten anyone for either factions yet.
So here is the updated list then:
Cygnar: Steve, Andrew.
Khador: Greg, Ted.
Trollbloods: Tweak.
Circle of Orboros: Leif(maybe), Andy(maybe).
Cryx: Adam(maybe).
Menoth: Adam(maybe).
Legion of Everblight: Rios.
That is 9 players. If we can get 1-2 more, that'd be awesome...otherwise we might need adam and andy to play multiple armies.
All lists are 35pts. No shared casters. If you're playing a faction along with another person, make sure to discuss caster choice with them, as there can be no redundancy! We're trying to keep this fluffy.

I guess I just have one last question, silly as this may sound, but I've never done a campaign for warmachine/Hordes before. How does this work, you talk about no shared casters but what other things should I keep in mind?

Ted I am in with my Khador for sure and weekends are great.
My oldest son Jason is interested but he only has the Cryx battle box. Tweak/Brian mentioned he might loan him figures when he is there... also he is new like me and not familar with the rules but is definately interested.

The nice thing about this being a 35 pt campaign is that 35 points is a moderate amount. I think a battle box is about 15. So all you are really adding is possibly another jack and a troop squad. So its fairly easy to pick up from there.
If this is going to be on the weekends I might not be able to make it as driving out there takes an hour and I am still a bit low on the pay rate at work lol. I might have to play my games on thursdays...
If you want to play a demo game with your cryx box I would have no problem playing with you. I am planning on being there tomorrow.
