I unfortunately decided against driving and began painting again...its been since before may the last time I picked up a brush. I will be working on my 35pts of orboros for the next few weeks when I get chances...at least get them base coated with a few details.
Next week I will be there for sure. 30 dollars to last me till tuesday while driving out there and possibly needing to fill up the tank wasnt the best idea. So I stayed home as I get paid my first time at my new job on tuesday. Then I will be saving for xmas presents and eventually Retribution 35pt list.
Speaking of, anyone want my Merc Pirates? I am getting rid of them for roughly purchase price as all but one are unpainted and most arent even primed. Otherwise they are going on ebay this weekend.

No problem Delso. We live in town and decided against going last night. Instead we put Cryx figures together!
Anyone interested in bumbling along and learning to play or just school me and my boys we will be there on Sunday for the food drive thing. I will be able to play if there aren't a lot of people signed up for Monsterpocalypse.

I should be able to make it around 6 this Sunday. I'll try to print off my own copy of the Hordes MKII rules and the rules sheets for Legion. I've played one game only, but that was like 3 months ago, so I might as well relearn.

I can't make it sunday unfortunately. I will be there Thursday however. I will make a point to read through mk2 hordes this weekend. I don't see why you couldn't proxy, as long as you establish what is what before the game begins. Making sure base sizes are correct is a must as well  . |

I'm interested but as Tweak said, I'm just starting out so I can't field a full 35 pt force without proxying. If proxies are indeed ok, I am in.

Ok, here's the thing...If we indeed allow more than 2 of each faction in...1.) there's going to be A LOT of players, maybe more than can be managed and 2.) we're going to have to have some weird alliances between other factions. We're trying to keep this fluffy and relatively realistic (i.e. there isn't more than 1 Kreoss or Butcher in the world). It seems like there are A LOT of Cygnar and even more Khador players wanting to play. I have to stress...if you have 2 armies and one of them is Cygnar or Khador, PLEASE play your other army. Proxies will be allowed, as long as base-size is correct and the entire army isn't solely proxies. This is a good opportunity for everyone to try out new lists, do some proxying, and if you like the list, buy the models from Bear. I thought it would be a nice gesture to help out the store that is nice enough to let us play pretty much anytime for free. As it stands:
2/2 Cygnar-Steve, Andrew.
2/2 Khador-Greg, Ted.
1/2 Menoth-Robbie.
2/2 Everblight-Rios, one of the other 2-3 guys who have shown interest.
1/2 Orboros-Delso.
1/2 Trollbloods-Tweak.
1/2 Cryx-Adam.
Adam, if Robbie plays his Menoth, would you be opposed to playing your Menoth, just so there's 2 Menoth players? It's most advantageous in the campaign if you have a friendly-faction player along with you. To the rest of you out there who have posted on here: State your name and what army you have, if you can do 35pts and, hopefully, which of the armies, which aren't at max capacity, that you have.
We will be starting this most likely next weekend, Saturday. The story will be finished, along with the rules and will be posted here in a couple days.

Greg, I assume you'll be using Vlad or Sorscha. I'm most likely going to run The Butcher. Everyone who wants in on this should come this thursday, Dec. 17th to the store. I'll go over the rules and the storyline. Otherwise, we're meeting on saturday. I'd like everyone to show up on thursday, as well, so I can coordinate when we meet on the weekends from now on.

For the record: I'm not sure how many points this is, but for Khador I have the koldun lords, a variety of warcasters, 4 jacks, 2 manhanters and their character and a few of those wanna-be warjacks with sledge hammers and the tech repair dudes. |
