We will stay as long as the majority of people can stay. The second 1 team has no one representing them is when we will stop. After tomorrow, the next meeting will be the following Wednesday again.

I think for consistency sake, we should only have movements once a week. I can't be coming out twice every week. Gas will kill me.
The problem is that I can't fight when I am not there obviously.
I will not be able to make it tonight as I was notified I have band practice tonight...Ted I know you and Steve can identify with something like that.
I will be up there Saturday regardless of the shop being open. We can easily play at someones house right? I can bring my game mat that I have yet to use! Rios could we hang out at your place?
Either that or maybe we can get Aaron to run d20 Star Wars?

So I think we need to do a quick errata to the way the campaign is working. Last time Rios got gang rapped by both menoth players. He didn't stand a chance and thus withdrew. Now realistically Menoth can continue to do that to all of us. This seems a bit like it might kill the competitiveness for those of us whose partners are not standing right beside us in the city, as no 35 pt list could possibly stand up to two 35 pt lists. I feel like its something that should provide an advantage tactically having double presence, but right now (as Rios felt) it is not an advantage it is an auto win. I know that for some of the armies, the Greg/Ted Khador and Cygnar they are relatively close to each other and could counter it but others are going to get ROFL stomped right out of the objectives without a chance to hold.

While I understand your frustration, there are some significant drawbacks to us Menites combining forces. If we are both in the same hex, we are not gobbling up territories or defending the territories we already have. Yes, we have a distinct tactical advantage, but that is because we strategically set it up that way. Plus, that advantage is only in the hex we are in- you are all free to ravage our hinterlands (heh) while we are coupled up in the city. Everybody is jockeying for the city, so I assume that within a few turns more people will be doubled up too, providing a viable threat to us Menites.
Logically speaking, the battles would escalate as the armies gathered upon the objective. If a team split their forces to gobble up territories, they are at a strategic disadvantage as their armies are too far away to support one another. I think it is actually quite realistic to have the combined armies able to fight together in the city. If a small army comes up on a larger one, they will stay away from it until they can meet it head on. I don't see why that shouldn't be represented in the campaign.
If we just want to play a bunch of pitched, even battles, we can just run a league. Those are fun too, and we do them all the time. In the campaign, the strategic decisions we make will have an effect on the tactical situations.

Agreed with Adam. It was indeed realistic for forces to do just that. The Legion strolled in, expecting nobody, but then they chanced upon a massive Menoth force. Realizing they were totally outclassed they fell back to reconsider.
Spread apart captures more land but is individually weak, while sticking together is strong but unwieldy.

Yes, indeed. This saturday at noon we will be meeting. If Menoth can capture the middle square and hold it and their other city territories for the day, I think they'll have enough to win.

Steve knows our plan. If I'm required to play a game because of it, then I'll be available Sunday after 3.

Anyone in the campaign who doesn't have a copy of the MKii rulebook:
Bear got them in today. He has 1 hard-cover and 2 Soft-covers. I made him order 5 more, so they should be there tomorrow. If you don't already have it, I strongly recommend getting it. They did a fantastic job clearing up some of the rules they don't explain in the PDF.
Also, Saturday at noon will be the meeting time for the campaign this week. I will have to leave by 4, so PLEASE try to be there AT noon.

I got mine earlier. He had 5 softcover copies, and when I rolled in he hadn't even gotten them stickered and one had sold, then I got mine out of the box too. It's sooo pretty...
Also got myself some darn templates.

got mine tonight. Looked like one hardcover left and at least one soft cover.
I was also looking on line and thought that when the campaign ended we may want to start a resurgence league. The prize pack would be cheap if we had all 12 campaign players in it.
