Yaaaay Poland! There is one company from there that I linked in the trading section.

Also - I decided to include google ads at the bottom of the site. I am not suggesting anyone clicks them, but it does help with the cost of Invasion when people do click em.
Another thing, what does the background look like on the Invasion website? I just looked at it from a different computer and it had a different background. Not sure if that was the computer or something else. Site appears fine otherwise, just seemed weird that one computer would show a different background.

For me it's the 2011 picture and a plain black background.

Thanks gentlemen. Must be something with the computer lab not being updated at work.
Anyways - Can confirm that another item has been added to the swag bag for all tournaments. Everyone is going to receive one cool Invasion Kenosha III Reroll token. The tokens are wooden and laser engraved with the Invasion name, date, website and a soon to be finalized icon.

Does it make sense to open up registration and allow people to pay later? I don't like doing this as typically you get alot of people dropping at the last minute which hurts the budget, but it helps to motivate folks to sign-up. Always seems like a double edge sword to me.

When you have as much on the line as you do, I'd say keep it as it is. For our tournaments we don't require payment until the day of, and naturally we tend to have some drops due to laziness, sleeping in, arbitrarily deciding not to, and some even have real reasons like family crisis.
To pay when signing up means you're definitely committed. Barring unforseen circumstances you're going...and since it's "so" far into the future, people don't want to commit (because they're wimpy).
Is it that few people have signed up as of yet? If so it could be due to fear of the unknown.

I think you're right in that folks don't want to commit until we get closer to the date. Last year, we had a huge swing of folks register right before the early deadline, so I am not shocked.
Why do you think there would be fear of the unknown? Not saying you are wrong, just curious since this will be the third year of the WFB and it seems that general opinion of it is high. I get the 40K side of things, as that is a new part, but I was expecting a few more (like 3 or 4) Fantasy folks by now.

For returning folks, it'd be just they don't know their schedule yet for that date.
For new people, they might not be sure on the price tag. Unless you already have it on the blog, some post detailing everything that comes with the entry fee might be useful to them. Alternatively, a condensed post on each forum you posted in that says all you get for the fee.
My army as it stands is 23% Lord, 12% Hero, 48% Core, and 17% Rare. Would that be a good mix you think? I was rewarded quite handily last year on that last mission where practically my whole army was coming back to life as it was all Core.

Andrew: Great idea. I will write a couple of posts that outline what comes with each player's admission.
I think that is a great mix. Curious what your lord looks like.

When it comes to trophies and such, what do people like to see? Also, would it feel cheap if I went with a white stein with gold trim and the IK3 logo on it for the painting competition? Something I can get from Cafepress or Zazzle.

I like the idea of a stein personally.

I saw some really nice ones, but I have not idea how many people will be attending at this point, so $100.00 stein is cheap if I have 50-60 people, not so cheap if I have 20 folks across everything. The one from Cafepress is ~$30.00 with the image and shipping.
