Hey Guys:
I am currently checking into a couple things regarding the next Invasion Kenosha and wanted to know if the NIMGC would be able to lend some terrain for the next Invasion. Depending on the size of the event, I may need to move it to a hall, so I would need some support when it comes to terrain.

I know I have some terrain available...the shop does too...altogether we should be able to scrape up 2-3 table's worth. Would any pamphlet's have a nifty "Supported by NIMGC" tag on 'em? hehe

I am sure we can work something out. I also have some big news that I would like to discuss with whomever handles the 40K tournaments for the club. Can that person IM me?

When is it? I may be able to cast up some buildings or ruins for you if I have enough time.

Speaking of ruins Ian, I also have a set of those resin Rubble Walls from GW. Would those be something to cast? Just so I stay on topic I'm curious about this big news....

Yes, Frizz, those would be something to cast. Also to keep things on topic, I'll be casting terrain in Structo-lite. It's like Hydro Cal but sets a little harder.

You bastard. Just post it in an e-board friendly place when it happens lol. I don't mean to be cryptic, it is just a matter of not putting something out on the web that is not set in stone yet. There is alot of things that need to be decided before any formal announcement can be made, so I want to be cautious about what is made public. As it stands today, Invasion Kenosha III is planned for Jan 15th, 2011. Invasion Kenosha IV is tentatively planned for Jan 14th, 2012. These dates are not official yet and may change based on certain decision I need to make over the next month.

I'm just joking around John, I swear. I'm on the e-board so I was just curious what the tentative information may be. No worries man =)

Wanted to get feedback on a couple of thoughts:
1. Moving Invasion Kenosha III to summer. 2. Raising the points to 1500.

1. Would make it MUCH easier for me to participate. Long winter drives suck.
2. As I really like playing at that points level, I'm okay with it. It allows the tools to be able to beat down really hard targets too, unlike at 1000 where if someone brings it, they tend to win.

Has a make-up date for the NIMGC Fantasy tournament been decided? I was looking at mid-June for Invasion III but don't want to step on the club's toes.

Not that I'm aware of...go ahead and schedule the Invasion though. Most likely ours won't be during the same time.

Date is being set for June 11th, 2011.
I am asking sponsors to support 30 people if they are participating in the swag bag. If anyone in the club has contacts, please let me know. It is going to be tough to beat last years swag bags, but I think it can be done if I make enough calls.
Tables will be 4' x 6' for Invasion Kenosha III, so I need to plan on having enough terrain to cover 15 tables. Depending on how the hall is laid out, what I would like to do is have a section with terrain from the NIMGC and have a sign or something stating that this section is sponsored by the club. Of course you would also get full level 3 sponsorship rewards in addition.
Since there was not a lot of interest or feedback, I have decided to not become involved in 2011-2012 GW Circuit.

Alrighty, that's fine about the GW circuit.
We'd be happy to donate terrain; if more than one of us attends we can haul it all up between us. I'll put it on the tab to be discussed during our meeting this month.

I can bring my SUV and pick-up stuff in DeKalb if we plan a head. Let me know what you guys need, as I would like to make sure we pimp the club as much as possible.
