Here's what I see (patterns and such) in the breakdown of things:
Points available per game:
Game 1 - 12 (7 prim, 3 sec, 2 bonus) Game 2 - 12 (7 prim, 3 sec, 2 bonus) Game 3 - 12 (6 prim, 5 sec, 1 bonus)
Objectives
Game 1 - Primary - VP, Secondary - 1 battlefield objective to hold Game 2 - Primary - VP, Secondary - 2 battlefield objectives to hold Game 3 - Primary - Fortitude (or VP), Secondary - 3 battlefield objectives
Some questions: 1. In the 3rd scenario, not achieving a win via breakpoint is considered a draw? 2. You write "Players are advised to not start a new game turn..." I personally hate this, as it causes far more problems than simply playing out the turn. Could I suggest either its removal, or a caveat that "unless both players feel they can finish the game turn." I mean really, otherwise you might as well just say each round is only an hour and 45 minutes, not 2 hours. I can easily finish full turns in 7 minutes or less, and I'm sure there are other players who can as well. At the end of the game, there are generally so few models left that it's more likely to be possible than not.

1. In the 3rd scenario, not achieving a win via breakpoint is considered a draw? With regards to battle points, yes. With regards to the pod, there is always winner.

Only 4 spots remaining in this year's Warhammer Fantasy Tournament. Another new sponsor for 2011 is Mantic games, makers of the awesome Kings of War. If you are looking for an alternative line of plastic fantasy models or want to start playing a quick and fun game, Kings of War is the range of models that you want to check out. Speaking of Mantic games and Kings of War, Rockhead's Comics and Games carries a full line of Mantic models for purchase. Why visit some internet retailer when Allen and company can get you just what you need to start that Kings of War army that you have been wanting.

Sponsor Spotlight: Cavalcade WargamesThanks to great sponsors like Cavalcade Wargames, Invasion Kenosha is more than just a tournament. It is also a chance for folks to check out great models and games that may not be seen elsewhere. Due to personal reasons, we have had someone drop from the Fantasy tournament. That means we have 5 spots remaining for the event. If interested, please head over to the Invasion website and use the registration box in the upper right side of the site.

Another really cool aspect of Invasion Kenosha is our ability to highlight alternative models for our favorite games. Today's sponsor, MaxMini, is one of the best examples of a company that has come up with some great alternative figures for certain fantasy games.

The single most important reason to attend Invasion Kenosha each year is to participate in the Daisy May Memorial Charity raffle. Among the prizes in this year's raffle are items from Warhammer Forge and Forgeworld. Folks will also have the chance to win Forgeworld prizes if they registered during the early registration period for the Fantasy tournament and 40K RTT.

2 spots remaining in the Fantasy Tournament. Will we sellout before 5 pm!Reminder - WFB Online Check-inWe are trying something new for this year with the implementation of an online check-in for the Warhammer Fantasy Tournament. Once full registered players have decided upon their army for the tournament and who they will be traveling with for the day, they can check-in for the tournament via the link below. The check-in process takes about 2 minutes and allows us to collect a couple pieces of information that will help with setting up the pods and determining first round table assignments. It will also help to prevent players from being paired up with a traveling companion for the first two rounds of the tournament. Players are not required to check-in early, but it will help if everyone playing in the tournament does it. Since this is something new, folks that check-in by July 15th, 2011, will be entered into an early check-in drawing as a special thanks for helping this year's tournament run smoothly. Check-in => qtrial.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_eF0fDFctQ0GuV3mNote: Please be fully registered before completing the check-in process. Update - 40K Overall Winner PrizeIf you are looking for a place to game, you need to check out Outpost Gaming. They carry a complete stock of Games Workshop, Flames of War, and Privateer Press products. They also host regular Magic and Pokemon events in the store. Check back in 24 hours for the next reveal...

A little something happened on the way home last night, someone snagged another spot in the WFB tournament. That means there is 1 spot remaining. I am going to leave registration open for a couple more days so we can fill it. If you have been on the fence, now is the time to decided and grab the last place in this years tournament.

Online Check-in UpdateBelow is the current list of registered attendees and who is checked in. I made a mistake when I was building the survey that resulted in a person's entry not being recorded unless they moved past the last page (the one with the IK logo). You know if you have successfully registered after you have finished the check-in and are taken to the Invasion Kenosha website. Check-in Link => qtrial.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_eF0fDFctQ0GuV3mAgain, the list below highlights who has checked in as of 10:00 am this morning. I will update the list on a regular bases as more folks check-in. Also don't forget, if you check-in by the EoD on Friday, you will be entered into a special drawing for a fun SoM prize.

I'm really surprised that so few fantasy players are those that have gone to previous invasions and instead are almost entirely new people, where previously they were all gung-ho to go. Any idea why that may be? Also, the IK page isn't yet updated with this info . Now I just need to get this mess: Painted in a week. Yes, I did take this picture last night...

I know Robert Elmer and Dan Ruud are attending a wedding next weekend. Eric Lenz is also doing something with his wife. Tony S stopped playing WFB. Not sure about everyone else at the moment. I seriously didn't get any negative feedback last year, so I don't know.
