Yo. Im Adam, History Major and Freshman (unfortunately). I'm from Mokena, which is right next to Frankfort (I know Relando/Randy from there btw), and close to Joliet. I love to play Dwarfs in WHFB, because, not only are they fat and stubborn like me, but they are the artillery specialists (Dwarf Army is currently nearing 3000 points, but its at home and needs some work) I also have some Empire troops, but i would like to offload those ASAP (too similar to Dwarfs, and inferior in Artillery IMHO). For WH40K I have a small Eldar force, a medium size Witchunters/IG Army (looking to figure that mess out...), and some Space Marines (I know, I know, they're too common, they were my first army and im looking to get rid of them). I have some 1/35th scale WW2 stuff and would love to play anything with them, I also have some 1/72 (I believe) Napoleonic forces, and would also love to be able to put those on the field. Where is the "Illinois Room" btw?

Where is the "Illinois Room" btw? Go to the big tower in the center of campus like Caleb mentioned and just grab a random person with a "Holme's Student Center" shirt and ask for directions. Alternatively, use the entrance that faces the MLK Commons, go up the stairs immediately to your right and then straight when you get to the second floor. Look for the geeks with the models. Also, if you are looking to sell anything, make a post detailing what you have and what you want for it in our "trade" section.

CA i believe means Community advisor...its a person who runs a floor in a dorm. This is all guesses of course as I never lived in the dorms because that would have sucked and i probably would have destroyed the building.

We called them residential assistance 21 years ago or poachers example if you don't want us to write this up bring us a six pack. Which I replied if you want to buy booze at the store I managed you'll shut up and walk away. I usual had the trump card on them.

Hey, all. My name is Scott. I'm a senior Philosophy major here (probably tacking on an English minor as well). I'm from Shabbona, which is a podunk little town about twenty miles south of Dekalb. I originally went to U of I in Urbana, but hated it and came back here after a semester. I currently live in an apartment on Lincoln Highway, just a bit east of campus.
My main mini game is Warmachine, which I have a couple armies for. I'm also a fan of the game Wings of War, which is a WWI air combat card game that essentially plays like a mini game. I also enjoy random board games and RPGs, and have been running an Iron Kingdoms d20 campaign since last semester. I also really like abstract strategy games, but don't play them nearly enough.
Outside gaming, I like reading (really anything) and am a huge film buff (woulda been my major if I'd started at a school with a real film program).

LOL, sorry I didn't have the link to these boards for while after I reformatted my compy.
Yes, CA is Community Advisor (Resident Advisor works too). Basically I just had a really tough time as a CA because they put me in charge of the floor I had lived on the year before so .... how do you keep 'control' over your friends when they think they can abuse the hell out of your friendship? You become a raging B*atch. Nuff said.
The Brwneyedsqurrl is just a play on 'brown eyed girl' and the squirrel part... yeah nevermind. It would be a long and boring story but it has meaning for me.
Anyhow, hope I have satiated your curiousity.

I'm telling you she hiding something. You just mark my words. I'd put my money on the first guy she plays she going to kick his #$$. She a she devil wrap all up in this innocent girl persona. Slight the 10% bitch she claims to be.
(Your a good sport for taking this ribbing from an unknown person)

If you were the Black Window you'd be playing Dark Eldar not Orks.

Dunno if anyone is still reading this threat, but I'm Tom and originally from Elmhurst. Outside of this miniature gaming which i've recently gotten into I enjoy fencing and am thinking of getting into historic combat fighting. It's pretty obvious at this point that yes I AM a history major .
