Hey tom welcome to the club. Good luck with your warmachine army, it is a fun game. Dont worry about the painting thing...I suck at painting so i never get around to it either and no one really minds.

Tom welcome to the club. Remember to check out ebay, warpath-games.com, and any club members for good deals on Warmachine stuff. I assure you you would save a lot of money going these routes.

Thanks everyone! I was just going to ask about good places to buy Warmachine online. I do have one more question: do Warmachine minis come with their own cards, or is that what the card packs are for?

All figures should come with a card. The card packs are so you can have all the cards for a certain army which some people like to have.

Ah thanks. I'll probably get one for whichever faction I choose anyway.

Yo tom! welcome to the forums!
I am the Pres. Andy Delso...or Delso as everyone knows me. You already met me. I was demo'ing Warmachine to Tom Dady, and you were watching. Good to have you on board!
I play: WH40K, WMachine, Hordes, and various computer games. Oh yea...I play a shit ton of Rock Band on 360 as well.
Nice on the name TKaz...I think we kinda established that between you , I and Tom D the other night lol.
As for WM the cards come with their respective mini's. Depending on how recently ordered they are, they should have the MKII (color/updated) cards in the box. You should pick up some super glue from wal-mart or some store before you get your box.
See you Thursday!
On a side note...this post has been read a bazillion times...(1560 truthfully lol)...insane.

Actually I've never done any crafting like this before...I don't have any superglue or exacto-knives yet for cleaning and assembling the minis >.>. I'll probably get there a little early on Thursday and then ask someone to help me put my stuff together. Sorry for my newbness...

Thats what the club is here for. Just ask, we have no problem helping out. If we did, then Ian, Rios, Jake, and some others wouldnt have helped me put me wraithlord together.

OK, so I'm a little late, but... welcome to the club Tkaz. I'm the other Ian, usually the guy wearing a collar and playing 40K. I've been wanting to try out Warmachine, but haven't had the money to get the miniatures or the new rulebooks. I'd be more than happy to paint your minis for cheap.

Grettings all,
I'm Mike, aka Kathemir. I'm a friend of Siriq/Caleb. I am from Zion, IL, currently attending University Wisconsin Parkside, going for my monetary and financial economics degree.
I just recently signed up for the Warhammer MMO and Caleb told me that you would have a guild forming soon that I could join. I look forward to seeing and hearing more for you all.
P.S. I've got a nice set of blue boots for a level nine witch hunter, first to claim gets em in the mail.

Hello all, I am Scott. I was at a couple meetings last year before school ate my life, but Im hoping to be at more this year. Im from Winfield IL (I can spit into Wheaton, just to give you guys a better idea where I am from) and currently live in Lincolnshire West appartments in Dekalb.
I am a Political Science major who is probably going to end up in law school. Ive played Warhammer fantasy on and off for seven years and am mainly a Chaos player (Slaanesh Mortals). Ive gotten back into 40K with the release of 5th edition and am slowly building up a White Scars Space Marine force because Mongols are badass.
Im been shown how to play Warmachine at a club meeting and very much enjoyed it and am looking into Cryx. Problem is, I dont have the money to spend on a third game system right now.

Hiya everybody!
My name is John, and I joined NIMGC on 10/11 at the "a day on Krynn IV" tournament. It was great to meet everyone there and I had a great time playing as the tournament was very well-run. My first time at on-board games (and my first time playing 40k against anyone other than the buddy who got me into the game) was at the 5th edition skirmish tourney earlier this year. At both events, I was very impressed at how well organized the tournament was, how talented the competition was, how friendly and welcoming everyone was, and what great sportsmanship everyone displayed. So that's why I joined =)
I currently only have 40k armies, but I'd love to see a fantasy game sometime. I play CSM and necrons.
In real life, I'm an NIU alum, spent 7 years there doing undergrad and lawschool, and now I'm a Boone County prosecutor, living in Belvidere (right next to Rockford, about 30 mins. from DeKalb).
Thanks everyone! -John B.
