Equinox, let us know if you will be able to attend and we will add you to the list of people attending. Just did the double check with the wife and school, nothing going on that day or the following week and my wife has requested the day off, so I am good to go. Do I need to declare an army before the event? I would like to play Daemons, but may not have 1500 points ready. If that is the case, I will likely play Necrons. Just let me know who I need to hook-up with to pay the entry fee. John Gaszak

I will add you to the list John. You do not need to declare an army.
We do ask that each participant try to bring two lists to the tournament (one for the judges and one for themselves and their opponents). Does not need to be printed.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

A couple quick questions.
Do models need to be GW? I understand WYSIWYG, but I was looking at this alternate Lord of Change model and was thinking about getting it. No big deal, but I thought I would ask before buying it and painting it for this event.
Another question about WYSIWYG. Recently I had some tell me that my Bloodletters are not WYSIWYG because they are painted green and green is the color of Nurgle. (I know this sounds stupid) Anyways, can I assume WYSIWYG refers to what is on the model and not the color scheme of said models.

--- WYSIWYG=refers to the equipment on the model. At least for us it does. What you choose to paint your models is your choice.
Bloodletters painted green would be fine.
--- As far as I know we do not require GW models as we are not sponsored by GW. With that being said it needs to adhere to the WYSIWYG rule...so for example if playing Orks and someone wanted to field cool privateer press miniatures to sub for some orcs that they do not possess this would not be allowed.
If you field a model that is of the right scale (28mm roughly) and accurately represents what you are fielding without question than yes it is ok...but if a judge walks by the table and sees your Ork army(just an example) is half WWII nazis painted green than no that wouldnt fly. I hope this answers your questions.

"Counts-as" is a totally different thing to "Proxy." The former we do, the latter we do not. Then add what Josh said (Link).
So yes, it'd be allowed.
People saying green Bloodletters are not WYSIWYG are just...well...not playing with a full army, as it were...
We're very relaxed here. Just be courteous and have fun, really.

Yes those are fine. Very nice models also.
Really the big thing is size and equipment as long as they can represent that you are good.

Ditto. Fit them on to the normal size bases for such creatures and you're good to go.

Will the FAQ in the 40k forums be in effect for this tournament? It should, as they are simply answers to frequent rules questions.
Alternatively, will the Adepticon FAQ be in effect?
Or both?

I like those demons, especially the Lord of Change one. I'd also like to participate in the upcoming tournament and get that up and posted well in advance. I'll probably be using my Tau again because I've gotten very comfortable fielding them and gotten the army to work in 5th edition through play-testing different lists. Unfortunately, I had to take advantage of the new multi-wound model rules with my Crisis Suits that Nob Bikers simiarly (ab)use . Any idea on when we'll see the specifics of the mission types?
